Problem&learned During Tutorial

Problems I faced during this tutorial i did was that i finished all the tutorial and in the end nothing had changed. During the tutorial i learned how to change things in the attributes editor .Overall i didn't succeed in producing my creation.

I picked this certain 3D model because the instructions looked very detailed and not only that but  it seemed like a cool 3D model to make .From what i see right now the instructions look easy and detailed.
